New EU Exhaust Emission Regulation is CECE Priority in Autumn

The most prominent dossier on the political agenda for CECE in second half of 2014 is the upcoming proposal for new EU exhaust emissions legislation for engines installed in non-road mobile machinery (NRMM). Market surveillance: compromise or starting from scratch?

After the plenary vote on the Regulatory Package for Market Surveillance of Products, last April, the file is now open again for negotiations between the new European Parliament and the EU Council. TTIP: machinery included in the EU-US negotiations

Following the last round of EU-US trade talks in Brussels, in July 2014, the engineering industry is included as a sector on which negotiations on Regulatory convergence are undertaken.
