EU Court of Justice rules that REACH thresholds should be applied at component level

European Parliament approves NEC proposal for national emission ceilings

BRUSSELS -- The European Parliament (EP) endorsed on 28 October the report prepared by MEP Julie Girling (ECR, UK) on the proposal for a directive on the reduction of national emissions of certain air pollutants (revision of Directive 2001/81/EC on National Emission Ceilings [NEC]). BRUSSELS – The input to the satisfaction survey among participants in the 2015 CECE CEMA Summit confirmed the 2015 edition to have been a general success. The overall feedback expressed through the survey is more than positive.
