Caio Lobo

CECE Technical Policy Manager

Caio Lobo holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Amazon (UNAMA) and a Master’s degree in European Studies from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. A specialist in Internal Market technical legislation and Standardisation Policy, he previously worked as an adviser for the Association of Europe’s Technology Industries (Orgalim) and held positions in the Standardisation Policy Unit at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) and at the Brazilian Trade and Investment Agenxy (APEX-Brasil). Currently, Caio works at the Committee for European Constriction Equipment (CECE), where he is responsible for standardisation policy and safety-related and horizontal technical legislation, such as the European legislation on Machinery, road circulation requirements, radio equipment and noise emission by outdoor equipment legislation.
