With more than 30 years of experience in the construction equipment industry, my career to date has provided the opportunity for involvement in disciplines including engineering design, product development, and regulatory compliance. My current role, working with a small team of compliance experts, requires the monitoring, interpreting, and implementation of product safety legislation for the construction and mining equipment that the company manufactures and supplies to the EU and UK markets.

In addition to my responsibilities within Komatsu, I am actively involved in a number of industry associations and regulatory forums. I currently serve as Chair of technical groups within both CECE and the CEA, helping to shape industry positions on technical and legislative matters. Alongside my regulatory activities, I contribute to the development of European and international standards through active participation in standards organizations, supporting the advancement of safe, compliant, and innovative construction equipment across global markets.
