I'm a Senior Policy Manager at Make UK, leading on international trade policy and helping manufacturers navigate an increasingly complex global trading environment. My work focuses on UK-EU trade, free trade agreements, customs and border policy, regulation, market access, and wider international developments that affect UK industry.
A key part of my role is monitoring emerging EU legislation and regulatory developments, assessing their potential impact on UK manufacturers and supply chains, and helping businesses understand and prepare for change. I regularly engage with government, parliamentarians, international partners, and manufacturers to ensure business perspectives are reflected in trade policy discussions.
Alongside policy development, I translate complex trade and regulatory changes into practical insights for companies, with a particular focus on supporting competitiveness, investment, exports, and long-term growth for UK manufacturing.
