Ryan Pratt is Head of External Affairs at the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, UKAS, the UK’s National Accreditation Body. He manages the delivery of UKAS’s external affairs engagement, with a focus on government and public policy. Ryan previously worked as a Parliamentary Researcher in the UK House of Lords.

His work has a particular focus on international trade and regulatory cooperation, working with government and industry on the role of accreditation in reducing technical barriers to trade and supporting market access. Ryan leads UKAS’s engagement on UK-EU trade policy.

He also represents UKAS in discussions with external stakeholders on emerging regulatory developments and accreditation can enable economic growth, competitiveness and resilient international supply chains.
