Successful Commission Workshop on Road Circulation for Mobile Machinery

BRUSSELS – The European Commission organised a workshop for all stakeholders interested in the harmonisation of mobile machinery going on the road.

The meeting took place on 14 June in Brussels and was attended by more than 60 people. Everybody in the audience believed that a harmonisation of road circulation regulations for mobile machinery will be beneficial for Europe. The Commission will launch a public consultation on this subject after the summer break. As soon as the public consultation is launched, CECE Members will be informed. In the meantime, the Industry Task Force (ITF) on Road Circulation is working to finalise a proposal for the technical requirements. A second workshop related to technical content and the results of the public consultation are to be expected in the beginning of 2018.
