CECE contributing to MIN BREF drafting
CECE has been accepted into the Technical Working Group that will draft the Best Available Technique Reference Document for the Mining (extraction) of ores (abbreviated MIN BREF).
This document will be drafted in accordance with the Industrial Emission Directive (IED 2.0) and it aims at describing the best technology to use in a mine and the way the mine should be designed, operated and maintained in order to protect the environment, reduce emissions and energy consumption.
CECE will actively contribute to the drafting process bringing the perspective of mining equipment and technology sector and making sure that the latest technology like electrification, alternative power systems and autonomous operations are taken into account during the works of the working group.
