CECE partner exhibition news: bauma CTT RUSSIA a big success!
For the first time bauma CTT RUSSIA – CECE exhibition partner – was held under its new name. The 19th International Trade Fair for Construction Equipment and Technologies took place from the 5th to the 8th of June 2019 in Moscow, Russia, and surpassed last year’s results in terms of visitors and exhibitors.
A total of 586 exhibitors from 26 countries showcased their new products and innovations for the Russian and CIS market on 60,000 square meters of exhibition space. Furthermore, the exhibition attracted 22,681 participants (a 10 percent increase compared to 2017) not only from Russia, but also from Belarus, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.
Taking part in the conference programme, CECE Secretary General Riccardo Viaggi also attended the fair. During a very interesting workshop organised by CECE Russian member association AEB, CECE presented the current trends and tendencies in terms of digital machines and shared with the attendants CECE’s actions in the larger field of Digital Construction.
Introduced by AEB CEO Frank SCHAUFF, the workshop included a presentation by AEB Construction Equipment Committee Chair – and CECE Steering Group member – Andrey KOMOV from Volvo CE who also shared the continued struggle of OEMs in Russia with unpredictable and unstable regulation.
The next edition of bauma CTT RUSSIA will take place at IEC Crocus Expo, Moscow on June 4 – 7, 2019.
