#CECEatBAUMA 2019 - let's debrief

CECE was present at bauma during the whole week, hosting numerous activities, internal meetings and events. During our meeting with bauma organisers we underlined the high attendance to our Press Conference, to the Digital Construction workshop on R&D funding needs and opportunities and to the CECE 60^th anniversary Celebratory Cocktail Reception. Our events have welcomed speeches from EU representatives Fulvia Raffaelli (DG GROW), Arian Zwegers (DG CONNECT), Jürgen Tiedje (DG RTD) and MEP Jan Zahradil, as well as from Nicole Schmitt (Exhibition Group Director of Messe München), Stefan Rummel, (Managing Director of Messe München), our President Enrico Prandini and our Secretary General Riccardo Viaggi.

We were also glad to accompany EU representatives on a visit of our members’ booths at bauma fairgrounds, giving them the opportunity to learn more about the latest innovations in the construction sector.

An important moment for CECE's international relations was the official ceremony of the signing of the CECE iCEMA Memorandum of Understanding. The main objective of this bilateral cooperation with India is to understand reciprocal market developments and improve global trade.

The meeting with our colleagues in Munich represented an opportunity to assess the main points to be taken into consideration for future bauma editions, with the aim to enhance our cooperation and deliver an increasingly successful exhibition.

We are proud and happy to collaborate with such a dedicated group of professionals, working to put together the biggest trade show in the world.

We look forward to the next edition of bauma, which will be held in Munich from 4^th to 10^th April 2022.
