Bernd Holz

Bernd Holz is Managing Director of Ammann Verdichtung GmbH since 2007, in charge of the production and R&D on the site in Hennef, and the sales and distribution of compacting machines in the German market and parts of markets elsewhere. In Hennef, he reorganized the manufacturing process following the concept of “Lean Production”, leading to an improvement of productivity and efficiency.
In 2014, Bernd Holz took on the additional responsibility of Sales Area Director North Europe, leading the commercialisation of new products and establishing a dedicated Used Equipment division. In his capacity as Sales Director Europe North he represents Ammann in the Czech trade association SVSS.
Previously, Mr Holz held various positions in sales in IR-ABG, now Volvo ABG, in Hameln, Germany. Holz studied Industrial Engineering and obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. In January 2016 he has taken up the presidency of CECE on behalf of SVSS.
