Reviewing the success of bauma CONEXPO Africa

The exhibition was presented by Messe München, organizer of bauma, and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, organizer of CONEXPO-CON/AGG. Both organization are seeking to make bauma CONEXPO Africa a trade fair which gives both local and international clients a platform to showcase themselves as leaders in their market.

Once again, the event has set itself as the leading trade fair for the construction sector in the region. The exhibition hosted 454 exhibitors from 34 countries and welcomed 14,167 visitors. A large part of the participants were from the continent, which emphasizes that bauma CONEXPO Africa is the perfect meeting point for all the actors of the value chain in Africa.

It was reported that participants witnessed a sense of renewed optimism. Despite the recent economic challenges, the fair highlighted the opportunities in the industry. Furthermore, the exhibitors experienced increased sales of machinery and equipment over the four days of the trade fair.

Another highlight of the 2018 edition was the quality of visitors attending. Thanks to its great organization, bauma CONEXPO AFRICA provided excellent networking opportunities.
