CECE introduces EVOLIS Plenary to its new Decarbonisation Task Force in Paris

CECE, represented by Mathias Amselle, presented CECE new Decarbonisation Task Force (CO2TF) in front of a hundred of trade associations and company representatives, based in France, on the occasion of EVOLIS Technical Plenary Meeting held on 30 January 2024 in Paris.

As CECE Sustainability Policy Manager, Mathias Amselle explained the roadmap set out during the CO2TF kick-off meeting in mid-January and emphasized that CECE will remain technology-neutral when consolidating its Matrix of alternative fuels for construction equipment and developing a stand-alone position paper on that realm.

Mathias seized the opportunity to further introduce the France-based audience to CECE activities in Brussels as well as the context of the upcoming European Parliament elections. Mathias went on to underline that the period following the elections and the establishment of the new Commission for 2024-2029 will entail a considerable follow-up work. A short Q&A Session with EVOLIS members unfolded after Mathias’ presentation.

In the morning, EVOLIS team unveiled its new Fresque législative which encapsulates all EU and national regulatory initiatives covering the machinery industry from a climate, environmental and digital perspective. In addition, EVOLIS members extensively discussed the technical implications of the Digital Product Passport. In the afternoon, EVOLIS working group on electromobility announced the fulfilment of its work programme on sectorial decarbonisation.
