CECE meets DG GROW to advocate for a stronger industrial voice in EU policy
On 25th June, a CECE delegation met with the European Commission’s DG GROW unit responsible for raw materials. Building on the successful visit of EU officials to bauma 2025, the meeting offered an opportunity to reiterate CECE’s priorities on mining and raw materials policy and to discuss the involvement of CECE and its member companies in the upcoming EU Raw Materials Week in November.
The delegation also expressed interest in hosting Commission officials at a CECE member company’s facility, with the aim of showcasing the design and production of mining equipment and fostering dialogue with industry representatives on the challenges posed by today’s geopolitical context.
Finally, CECE extended an invitation to Commission officials to attend the CECE Summit 2025, taking place on 5th November in Brussels.
