CECE Mining showcases innovation and sustainability at MMH 2024
CECE Mining visited Mining and Minerals Hall (MMH 2024) in Sevilla between 15th and 17th October. The trade show, which is the largest for mining industry in Spain, saw record participation both in terms of exhibitors and visitors.
Latest innovation in mining automation, remotely controlled equipment and sustainability were presented, including some by CECE member companies.
On 16th October Enrico Borella, Public Affairs Manager Mining, took part as external expert to the advisor board during the final event of Dig_IT project. This project, that received funding from Horizon Europe program, deployed a number of technologies – from digital twin to wearables – in 4 different mines in Italy, Finland and Norway and created an IIOT platform to allow end users to leverage data for their operational needs.
