CECE presents main trends and tendencies of the construction equipment market in Europe at bauma CTT RUSSIA

bauma CTT RUSSIA 2019 took place in Moscow from 4^th to 7^th June. The trade fair celebrated its 20^th anniversary by welcoming 22,726 visitors and 603 exhibitors from 19 countries in the 55,000 square meters of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center.

This year a noticeably high number of top-level decision makers and stakeholders attended the fair, showing a growing interest in the most important industry platform for the Russian market and for the neighbouring regions. The international visitors came from 55 countries, with the top 10 visitor countries being Belarus, China, Italy, Kazakhstan, Germany, Montenegro, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Poland and Ukraine.

Being bauma CTT RUSSIA our Exhibition Partner, CECE Secretary General Riccardo Viaggi attended the fair and gave a speech at the inauguration conference of the bauma CTT FORUM, titled ‘The future of the construction equipment market in Russia: focus on innovations’.

On this occasion and at the invitation of CECE, Tomas KUCHTIK, Trade Affairs Counsellor at the EU Delegation to Russia, visited the fairgrounds and met with CECE Italian, Spanish and German members to discuss the strong presence of EU manufacturers and the many challenges created in this market by recent political decisions.

The next edition of bauma CTT RUSSIA will take place from 26^th to 29^th May 2020.
