CECE speaking about the future of construction machinery at ANMOPYC event

On 4th July, over 200 participants gathered in Zaragoza, Spain to attend the General Assembly meeting of ANMOPYC, the national association of construction machinery manufacturers, and Spain’s member of CECE.

On the occasion, Riccardo Viaggi presented CECE’s vision of the future of the industry of construction equipment, around the keyword of the “twin-transitions” towards green and digital. He argued that both technological trends are evident and solid already in the market place, mostly driven by the industry’s commitment to sustainability and economic efficiency.

He presented CECE’s views on the decarbonisation roadmap of construction machinery and the concrete example of an R&D project towards autonomous & connected road-building machines, the EU-funded InfraROB project.
