CECE visits PLANTWORX 2019

PLANTWORX 2019 was held at the East of England Arena and Events Centre in Peterborough from 11^th to 13^th June, welcoming more than 15,500 attendees in an area of 140,000 m2.

The 4^th edition of UK’s construction event organised by CECE member Construction Equipment Association (CEA) hosted 450 exhibitors, of which over 130 companies made their show debut showcasing plants, tools, equipment and the newest sector innovations.

CECE was glad to meet CEA board members and high-level guests from major OEMs, and to attend CEA Consultant Alex Woodrow’s presentation on the potential of digitalisation in the construction sector. PLANTWORX gave us the opportunity to see new products from many OEMs of the UK construction equipment industry and meet all parts of the construction community.

We also had the chance to discuss partnership opportunities with PLANTWORX board members and to propose them to join our exhibition programme for the fair’s next edition taking place in 2021.

The biennial event represents a unique business opportunity for construction contractors, professionals, civil engineering managers and machine operators to catch up with a range of new and existing manufacturers and services at one dedicated event.
